Oxford Climate Risk & Resilience Forum
In tackling climate risks and strengthening our resilience, what are the knowledge gaps, research needs, and barriers to action?

As part of the Oxford Policy Engagement Network Showcase 2022, the Oxford Climate Research Network invites you to join researchers, policymakers and practitioners from across the UK, who will be pooling their expertise and evidence to answer these questions. The OCRN will synthesise the outputs of this forum to provide an anchor for subsequent conversations and collaborations in advance of COP27.
Delegates are confirmed from external organisations including the UK CCC, the Center for Climate and Security, BEIS, DEFRA, the UN Race to Resilience, the NFU, and more. We ask that you come ready to raise key issues in your work that would benefit from discussion with this wide range of individuals. There will be ample opportunity for both formal and informal dialogue in various settings throughout the day, including in core plenary sessions (in person and online), as well as over lunch, coffee breaks, and the networking reception.

The forum will run from 9:30-18:00, with a networking reception from 18:00-20:00 which is open to anyone (even if you didn’t attend the forum earlier).
