Holocaust Memorial Day 2020 Stand Together: ‘Suffer the little children - receiving children before and after the Holocaust’
Christ Church Cathedral, in partnership with Oxford Jewish Centre and the Town Hall, will hold an event for teachers, interested adults and students about approaches to Holocaust history, genocide, and peace education.

09:45-10:30 Synagogue Visit and Talk (‘Oxford University and the Jewish community’)

11:00-11:45 Inter-faith Service at Town Hall
11:45-12:15 Coffee in the Town Hall, the former home of David, a Jew who lived in Medieval Oxford. St Aldates used to be called Great Jewry Street
12:15-12:45 OPTIONAL visit to the Oxford Stand Up to Racism Exhibition. This annual exhibition, aims to bring key HMD issues up to date, with recent and current prejudices and genocides. Attendees may prefer to visit the Oxford Museum or the cellars of the Town Hall, instead
12:55-13:40 Simple sandwich buffet lunch at Christ Church (McKenna Room).
