OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. The exact freeze dates will be confirmed as soon as possible.

E.E. Cummings as a Poet of the Great War: Love, Sex, Brutality, and ‘the Beauty of Living’
Alison will be talking a little bit about The Beauty of Living and reading extracts from her book, which brings to life the young man that Cummings was, his love for Marie Louise Lallemand, and the way that his poetry—in its tenderness and its brutal honesty—reflects his wartime experience.
