On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

When Holocaust survivor Lily Ebert showed her great grandson Dov Frorman a bank note she was given after liberation from a death march, he started an online search via social media and successfully tracked down the soldier who gave it to her. Their reunion 75 years later captured imaginations across the country and was widely covered in television, newspapers and radio. Here, Holocaust Memorial Day Trust Scotland Support Worker and Holocaust Educational Trust Regional Ambassador Kirsty Robson talks to Dov and Lily about their story and how Social Media can be used for Holocaust commemoration and education.
