OxTalks is Changing
On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Adjunctive Psychotherapy for Bipolar Disorder: A Systematic Review and Component Network Meta-analysis
For link to attend, information and to register please contact the host: katherine.stevens@psych.ox.ac.uk
In a recent systematic review and component network meta-analysis published in JAMA Psychiatry we aimed at identifying which psychosocial interventions are associated with an improved course and medium-term outcomes of bipolar disorder. This study suggests that outpatients with bipolar disorder receiving pharmacotherapy should also be offered psychosocial treatments that emphasize illness management strategies and enhance coping skills; delivering these components in family or group format may be especially advantageous. In this seminar, after summarizing the study led by David Miklowitz, I will also discuss some of the common difficulties one would encounter when conducting (i) meta-analyses of psychotherapies and (ii) component network meta-analyses.
