OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
Air pollution in Oxford: towards solutions
Status: This talk is in preparation - details may change
The air pollution problems in Oxford are widely recognised and are severe for a city of this size. But many people are not clear on how bad the problem is, nor on what can be done about it.
Air Pollution in Oxford: towards solutions will be a unique event that will put Oxford’s air in the context of health impacts, transport and planning issues, and the future development of Oxford. It will look to draw out what experts in all these fields see as solutions to the problem with speakers from the Universities, health sector, local council and other agencies.
