OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
Diversity in research - networking and learning event
To register, please contact Sarah.Marr@ouh.nhs.uk by Tuesday 15th March. Places are quite limited so we will allocate on a first come first served basis.
Would you like to increase your knowledge about how to involve people from diverse communities in research?
Researchers are invited to attend a “Diversity in research” networking and learning event on Tuesday 22nd March.
The event is organised by patient and public involvement (PPI) staff in collaboration with Oxford and Oxford Health Biomedical Research Centres’ Diversity in Research Group, and is supported by other PPI contributors and researchers.
PPI contributors and researchers will give presentations on the value of involvement in research and how to reach under-represented communities.
An important part of the event is the opportunity to network with contributors and researchers over lunch, so if you register to attend, please attend the whole event if at all possible. Thank you.
Timing:
12.00-12.30 – Coffee and registration.
12.30-1.30 – Lunch and networking.
