OxTalks is Changing
On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Failing forward better: transforming responses to climate-related disasters
Together with the COP26 Unit, as part of the COP26 Health Programme, the Climate Change and Health Group at Public Health England will host a series of six high-level panel discussions to explore horizon questions for climate change impacts and responses within the health sector. Each session will include an academic researcher, someone from a policy background, a practitioner conducting grassroots work and a civil society representative. Collectively we hope to address key climate and health issues while maintaining an individual perspective. The first session will focus on inequalities. It will be followed by sessions on nutrition, infectious diseases, disasters, mental health and end with issues around climate resilience within health systems.
