A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. Abbey Palmer will describe the use of virtual reality to improve learning outcomes in English literature in Oxfordshire classrooms, through the creation of a mobile app based on Charles Dickens’ Oliver Twist. Fridolin Wild will speak about the use of eXtended Reality to help novices advance to mastery in a variety of fields. Finally, Terje Pedersen and Sigrid Sjåstad from Rothaugen Middle School, Bergen, Norway will detail their integration of virtual reality (VR) games and experiences in the middle school classroom.
