Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. His first book, The Changing of the Guard – The British Army since 9/11, published in 2021, provides insight into the evolving role and relevance of that institution throughout the last two decades. It is a Times Literary Supplement book of the year and won the Templer First Book Prize.
