OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
OUCAGS Forum - September 2017
The September Forum will feature a lunchtime talk by Professor Chris Lintott, Professor of Astrophysics in the Department of Physics at Oxford University. Chris is the co-founder of Zooniverse, home to some of the internet's largest, most popular and most successful citizen science projects.
The OUCAGS Forum (formerly the Academic Medical Forum) is a space for sharing research findings, ideas, and know-how. The programme for 2017 will consist of regular half day events featuring presentations from a range of clinical trainees and DPhil students in different specialties, paired with a series of workshops/talks on a range of research-related topics. The Forum represents an excellent networking opportunity, as well as a chance to find out about current research around Oxford.
