OxTalks is Changing
On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Rewley Lecture with Laurence Moroney, AI Lead at Google
Join Saïd Business School for the Rewley Lecture, with guest speaker Laurence Moroney. Laurence leads AI Advocacy at Google, where he works to educate, inspire, and inform developers about AI and how they can build systems with Machine Learning. Laurence is a prolific author and speaker and runs the TensorFlow YouTube channel. He will be speaking on the implications of AI for us all in our daily lives, and what he sees the genuine risks, as well as the plentiful opportunities, of AI are.
