Leading Change for Impact in Healthcare
While much work is undertaken to innovate and identify the best intervention or tool to improve services in healthcare, many projects don’t succeed because of failure to manage the process of change and an inability to overcome resistance to change. Change management is the practice and process of supporting people to achieve a desired outcome, with the goal of ensuring that the change is successful and sustained in the long term. This can be applied to the individual, project and organisational level before, during and after the change occurs. In this interactive session, the speakers will focus on explaining steps for change and tools to drive adoption such as ADKAR and Lewin’s force field analysis. There will be a facilitated discussion through which attendees will have the opportunity to discuss their real-world challenges and share their reflections.
