OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Towards Intraneuronal Immunotherapy (in person talk)
Dr Ole Tietz is a Research Fellow at Macquarie Medical School and based at the Dementia Research Centre where he leads the Chemistry Group. Ole completed his PhD at the University of Alberta, Canada, and held post-doctoral fellowships at the University of Cambridge and the University of Oxford. Ole is interested in developing novel drugs against intracellular molecular targets for diagnosis and therapy of neurodegenerative diseases. This includes the rational design of small molecules and their optimization for cellular entry; the design and study of novel cell penetrating peptide complexes for the transport of exogenous cargo into cells; and the engineering and modification of antibodies to develop intracellular immunotherapies.
