On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

As satellite technologies and space exploration expand, the need for sustainable practices has never been more urgent. Join us for an engaging discussion on the United Nations’ Guidelines for the Long-Term Sustainability of Outer Space Activities, a landmark framework shaping how we use and govern space responsibly.
This conversation brings together leading voices in the field — Prof. Kai-Uwe Schrogl, Prof. Rosanna Deplano, and Dr. P.J. Blount, moderated by Prof. Marc Ventresca — to unpack the legal, political, and technological challenges of building a sustainable future beyond Earth. This event is for anyone interested in space governance, sustainability and international cooperation.
