OxTalks is Changing
On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Talking Climate Change: In Conversation with Dr. Katharine Hayhoe
Please join us for a conversation with world-renowned climate scientist and climate change communication expert Dr. Katharine Hayhoe.
Dr. Hayhoe will speak about her new book “Saving Us: A Climate Scientist’s Case for Hope and Healing in a Divided World.” Drawing on interdisciplinary research and personal stories, she shows how small conversations can have astonishing results. Available now, Saving Us leaves us with the tools to open a dialogue with your loved ones about how we all can play a role in pushing forward for change. There will be ample time for discussion with Dr. Hayhoe after her talk.
