Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. From now until the launch of Oxford Events, new events cannot be published or edited on OxTalks while all existing records are migrated to the new platform. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period.
From 16th, Oxford Events will launch on a new website: events.ox.ac.uk, and event submissions will resume. You will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
The 3MT is a competition that challenges PhD students and postdoctoral researchers to describe their research within three minutes to a general audience. 3MT celebrates the discoveries made by research students and encourages their skill in communicating the importance of research to the broader community.
This year the 3MT for researchers in the Humanities and Social Sciences will take place on Wednesday 7th March 2018 from 2pm to 5pm in St Luke’s Chapel. In preparation for the competition, we strongly encourage participants to sign up for our two-part Storytelling workshops, where you can learn how to create compelling narratives and engage your audience.
