OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Disgust and desire: how to Improve Global WASH
The world has agreed to the challenge of providing universal water, sanitation and hygiene by 2030, yet it is far from clear how this can be achieved. In this talk Val Curtis, the Director of the Environmental Health Group at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, will discuss how understanding WASH-related behaviour and making use of evolved emotions such as disgust can help us get to global WASH.
