OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
After a dozen years the Oxford Cognitive Approaches to Psychosis (O-CAP) research group is moving from the Department of Psychiatry to the Department of Experimental Psychology. The team investigate why people experience psychosis and use that knowledge to develop truly effective treatments. Notable achievements include the development of the most effective psychological therapy for persecutory delusions, the Feeling Safe programme, and the pioneering of automated psychological treatment delivered in virtual reality (VR). Members of the team will present several illustrations of the progress made in understanding and treating psychosis. They will also reflect on the many pleasures of working in the department.
