OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Depression Pharmacology: From SSRI's to ketamine to psychedelics
Join OPS for an insightful in-person event exploring the evolving landscape of depression treatment. Our expert speakers will cover the full spectrum of pharmacological approaches: Dr. Beata Godlewska will discuss the science behind SSRIs, their effectiveness, and limitations; Dr. Sara Costi will present the groundbreaking potential of ketamine as a rapid-acting antidepressant; and Dr. Matthew Wall will bring the conversation back to psychedelics, such as psilocybin, and where this lies as a future tool in mental health treatment.
