Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Bio: Peter Blowfield is a part-time MSc student, reading Energy Systems at the University of Oxford. His thesis focused on the application of cryogenic carbon capture and the potential scalability. Prior to his MSc, Peter studied Mechanical Engineering Design at Bucks New University part-time whilst working for the UK Atomic Energy Authority. Outside of his studies, Peter is a keen rower, runner, triathlete and painter.
