OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. Roundtable: Current Research on Oxford, Empire, and the Legacies of Slavery
Several Oxford Colleges have launched projects to explore their connections to the Colonial Past, including the extent to which they benefited from the legacies of slaveownership. This event brings together colleagues from three different Colleges to discuss how their research is progressing and to explore some of the questions it raises about the relationship between Oxford and Empire.
