TORCH and DiSc video games and research collaboration
Are you an academic interested in collaborating with industry in your work? Do you work in the video games industry and want to find out more about collaborative projects with academia? Join us for an event co-organised by Digital Scholarship at Oxford and TORCH. This panel event will showcase projects and we’ll hear from researchers and the video games industry professionals they’ve worked with. This will be followed up by a networking session for attendees.
Lunch will be provided!

Dr Andrew Shapland (Department of Archaeology), Amy Jenkins Le Gerroué and Romain Fascialé from Ubisoft will talk about their work on Labyrinth: Knossos, Myth and Reality exhibition at the Ashmolean Museum – www.ashmolean.org/exhibition/labyrinth-knossos-myth-reality

Dr Terhi Nurmikko-Fuller (Australian National University and Gale Asia Pacific Digital Humanities Oxford Fellow) is a Digital Humanities specialist, who is going to to speak on the role of games and play in the multiple collaborative projects she has participated in with organisations like the Australian National Museum, British Library Labs and a range of collaborators in various academic fields.
