On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

The Sub-Saharan Congenital Anomalies Network aims to improve the diagnosis and care of children with structural congenital anomalies and promote the identification of their causes for prevention by building an evidence base through surveillance, collaborative research and improving capacity.
There are few established birth defect surveillance systems in Africa, however there have been recent effort to build capacity building and establish surveillance in Africa. This 2-part webinar series will focus on the importance of surveillance and show case the experience to date of existing and emerging surveillance programs in Africa.
