OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Industry experts and researchers will try to bridge the gap between science and business.
In this session we explore the role of science, technology, and leadership in accelerating empowerment, democratisation, and equitability in extraordinary times.
Prof Bram Govaerts (Director General at CIMMYT/CGIAR), Kristoffer Gandrup-Marino (Chief of Innovation at UNICEF) and Dr Louisa Ludbrook (Vice-President Sales at Oxford Nanopore Technologies) share their vision and expertise in a conversation on what it is like to turn innovative ideas into scalable global solutions. The focus is on innovation in the areas of food security, progress for children, and democratisation of biological research.
