OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. In this session we explore the role of science, technology, and leadership in accelerating empowerment, democratisation, and equitability in extraordinary times.
Prof Bram Govaerts (Director General at CIMMYT/CGIAR), Kristoffer Gandrup-Marino (Chief of Innovation at UNICEF) and Dr Louisa Ludbrook (Vice-President Sales at Oxford Nanopore Technologies) share their vision and expertise in a conversation on what it is like to turn innovative ideas into scalable global solutions. The focus is on innovation in the areas of food security, progress for children, and democratisation of biological research.
