This event is organised in collaboration between the ZERO Institute Early Career Researchers Network and the Young Energy Professionals (YEP) Forum at Energy UK, bringing together early career professionals and researchers working at the forefront of the energy transition.
The evening will begin with a keynote seminar from Dr Jan Rosenow, Energy Lead at the Environmental Change Institute, University of Oxford. Dr Rosenow will share reflections on the latest trends and challenges in energy systems and policy, followed by a facilitated discussion engaging participants from across academia, industry, and government.
The seminar will be followed by a networking drinks reception, offering space for informal conversation, collaboration, and exchange of ideas across disciplines and sectors.

This event is free but registration is required as space is limited. Early career professionals and researchers are especially encouraged to attend.
Who will be attending? Members of the YEP Forum and the University of Oxford are welcome to register. The event is open to all engaged in energy transition research and practice at the nexus of disciplines, including engineering, geography, policy, international development, and sustainable finance.
Please note that your place will be considered confirmed once you receive email communication from the organisers. We aim to curate an attendance that reflects a balanced representation of young researchers and professionals from a variety of disciplines in the energy transition space.
