A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. William Ghosh teaches Victorian and Modern Literature at Jesus College, Oxford. V.S. Naipaul, Caribbean Writing, and Caribbean Thought was published by OUP in 2020. ‘The Recalcitrant Child’ discusses contemporary fiction from the UK (Hanif Kureshi), the US (Philip Roth), and France (Virginie Despentes).
