OxTalks is Changing
On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Careers in Tech: Technical and Non-technical Roles
The widespread use of technology has created a vast array of career opportunities in the tech sector, extending far beyond traditional IT roles and employers.
Whether you are interested in using coding skills or pursuing a non-technical role, such as product management or user experience (UX) design, the technology sector has something to offer.
After a brief overview of the diverse career paths available in the sector, you will hear from three panelists working in both technical and non-technical roles.
They will share the day-to-day realities of their jobs as well as their experience transitioning to and developing a career in this sector.
