OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

From Woods to Goods: How consumer choices affect our forests
Andrew Mitchell, CEO of the Global Canopy Programme and Dr. Connie McDermott, Chair of the Ecosystem Governance group at the Environmental Change Institute will take you on a journey to some of the world’s most remote tropical forests, all the way… to the supermarket shelves. Through this fascinating adventure from wood to goods, you will learn about how we are changing the state of our forests, and what we can do as consumers to reverse their fate.
Each speakers will talk for about 20 minutes and the event will be followed by Q&A,
