OxTalks is Changing
Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. From now until the launch of Oxford Events, new events cannot be published or edited on OxTalks while all existing records are migrated to the new platform. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period.
From 16th, Oxford Events will launch on a new website: events.ox.ac.uk, and event submissions will resume. You will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
Google presentation: Next generation web apps with Machine Learning using TensorFlow.js
This is an in-person event for University of Oxford staff and students. Details of the venue will be provided upon registration, which is on a first come first served basis.
Join Jason Mayes from Google as he walks you through what machine learning is on the web with
TensorFlow.js, how it can (or is already being used), along with some demos of Google’s models in action
and benefits of working in JavaScript. He will also point you to resources to get started or to go deeper.
