The Future of Sustainable Fashion

Carry Somers, Co-Founder and Global Operations Director of Fashion Revolution is coming to speak to the Oxford Waste Society on fashion sustainability. Her organisation seeks to build a fashion industry that puts both creativity, profit, people and the environment at the core of their values. From supporting young designers, to working with manufacturers, Fashion Revolution is forging the way in the sustainable fashion industry.

Their mission: ‘To unite people and organisations to work together towards radically changing the way our clothes are sourced, produced and consumed, so that our clothing is made in a safe, clean and fair way. We believe that collaborating across the whole value chain — from farmer to consumer — is the only way to transform the industry. Our mission is to bring everyone together to make that happen’.
