Medical decision-making and the law
In this talk, Victoria Butler-Cole QC will explain and consider the courts’ approach to difficult medical treatment decisions including the use of novel, experimental or untested therapies by patients with or without mental capacity and the shifting sands of clinical judgment, paternalism, capacity and informed consent.

The talk will be followed by an open discussion. This event is open to everyone but has limited space so registration is required. If you would like to attend please register.
