OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. From Soldier to Peace Activist: An Evening with Avner Gvaryahu
We are delighted to invite you to a conversation with Avner Gvaryahu—former Executive Director of Breaking the Silence, peace activist, and recipient of the 2025 Human Rights Award (NIF London). Avner will join us for an open conversation about moral responsibility and activism in times of war. He will share his personal journey, the challenges of speaking out during conflict, and what drives him to continue working for human rights and accountability.
This evening will be a valuable opportunity to meet and engage with Avner Gvaryahu, as well as to connect with fellow OxMEND members.
