OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Memorable Objects: Postgraduate Training day
This training day in object-handling at the Pitt Rivers Museum is a unique opportunity to draw on one of Oxford’s prime resources and will bring together postgraduates in the humanities and social sciences. The Pitt Rivers Museum has an extraordinary collection of memorial artefacts from around the world as well as a team experienced in training scholars in object-handling, and the skills and knowledge acquired will be transferable to objects (including photographs and texts) arising in the postgraduates’ research.
