Scientific Entrepreneurship
Note that there will be no class in week 2 (17th October) and the programme ends in week 9 (5th December)
Success in a start-up business is significantly enhanced with an understanding of key entrepreneurial characteristics and competencies. This weekly, term-long course provides potential science/engineering entrepreneurs with the knowledge to enable successful outcomes from an entrepreneurial opportunity, by considering:
Innovation and R&D/operations
Start-up finance, valuation and funding
Strategy fundamentals
Marketing and commercialisation
Team building and organisation
