OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
Local Responses to precarious migrants - findings from a comparative project in Cardiff, Frankfurt and Vienna
Online only.
In 2021 and 2022, comparative research was conducted on access to critical services for precarious migrants. Looking at health, education and housing, the project found various forms of collaboration between the public sector and civil society to offer help in situations otherwise characterized by hostility and exclusion. The presentation will show key results and practice examples from Cardiff, Frankfurt and Vienna.
