Genetic analysis of neural circuit assembly and organization
You are welcome to join the speaker for a drink in the Wadham Room, Kings Arms, 40 Holywell Street, Oxford from 5.15pm to 6.30pm
This talk will discuss our recent work on the development and organization of neural circuits. Discussion of development will focus on cellular and molecular mechanisms that mediate the establishment of wiring specificity in the fly olfactory circuit and mouse hippocampus. Discussion of function will focus on TRAPing active neurons to interrogate circuits involved in thirst motivation and remote memory.
