OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. The road to net-zero: what we need to get right

The UK has a legally binding target to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions to net-zero by 2050. Achieving this bold aim will transform the UK economy and society as a whole. In this talk, Juliet Davenport will explore what we need to do to reach zero emissions within a generation. She will draw on two decades of experience in the energy industry, from founding one of the UK’s first renewable power companies to her roles on some of the country’s leading research institutes.
