OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
Psychedelics for Nature Connectedness
Join us for an enlightening talk with Dr. Sam Gandy (Imperial College London) as we explore the profound ways in which psychedelics can foster a deeper connection to nature. Dr. Gandy, an expert in the field, will discuss the latest research on how substances like psilocybin and other psychedelics influence our perception of the natural world, promote environmental consciousness, and enhance feelings of interconnectedness with ecosystems. This talk will delve into the potential therapeutic benefits of nature connectedness and its implications for mental health and well-being. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn how psychedelics are reshaping our relationship with the Earth.
