OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. The exact freeze dates will be confirmed as soon as possible.

Reporting Migration: A Journalist’s Account
Daniel Trilling has been writing about migration, borders and refugees for more than a decade. During that time he has been both a part of the media industry, reporting on events like Europe’s 2015 “refugee crisis”, and an analyst of the ways media coverage can itself shape events. This talk will give an insider’s account of the different forces that produce the media audiences consume.
