Professor John Foot (Bristol) – one of Britain’s most distinguished historians of post-war Italy – will present a film of his choosing, situating it in the development of Italy’s post-war history. He will present Mario Monicelli’s 1963 classic of Italian cinema: The Organizer (I Compagni).
