OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. Dr Farhan Samanani of Oxford University returns to Kilburn to report on his ethnographic study of the area and the ways in which its diverse communities get along. Bringing together social and environmental themes within a place-based approach he will explore the opportunities for “Building community on the go: lessons for and from Kilburn.”
