PowerPoint: New and old features to increase impact and productivity

Held as part of the Centre for Teaching and Learning’s ‘Maximise your digital productivity’ series, this session is for academics, students and all those interested in improving their digital productivity.

It is intended for new and long-time PowerPoint users who would like to improve their PowerPoint design but also take advantage of the latest features that can improve their productivity. This session expects that you already can create PowerPoint presentations. It was designed around features even experienced PowerPoint users often don’t know about. Topics include:

- Key principles of impactful layout – Using SmartArt to save time – Using new AI features to improve design – Using icons and images from different source – Importing slides from other presentations and using sections or organise presentations and use Zoom – Recording, editing and exporting videos with PowerPoint and adding screen recordings
