Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Prof Martin Birchall (Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital, University College London). In 2008 Professor Birchall co-led the European Team which successfully performed the world’s first stem-cell based, tissue-engineered organ transplant, opening up new vistas for organ replacement in years to come. He is the first ENT surgeon to be elected to the Academy of Medical Sciences
