The future of the office
The Covid-19 crisis has resulted in a large proportion of the office-based services sector working from home. To what extent is this a permanent change in behaviour? Will the total demand for central business district office space fall or will it be re-imagined, re-designed and made more resilient?  Will the way offices are managed have to change? Are we about to see a boom in third space provision (local co-working)? What are the economic models we can use to predict office rents and values in this environment and the impact on house prices? Will we see real time flexible pricing of workspace?
