OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. Challenges & opportunities to communicate effectively at large scale conferences - lessons from COP16
This talk is directed to those who communicate outputs during large scale conferences (e.g. the CBD COP16) from the perspective of a communications officer that attended the conference in person. It will focus on challenges and opportunities when attending a large scale conference acting as the point of contact between academic delegates and the wider comms community at the University of Oxford.
Liliana Resende is the Digital Comms & Marketing Officer for the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment. She develops media and digital storytelling opportunities, promotes academic research, and markets the school’s educational programmes.
