On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Theo Davies-Lewis in conversation with Cindy Gallop, Somervillian and founder of MakeLoveNotPorn. This will take place from 17.30 to 18.30 and will be followed by a reception.
Cindy Gallop describes herself as the “Michael Bay of business”, after the blockbuster director famous for the frequent explosions in his movies. Having previously worked for Bartle Bogle Hegarty, she built up its US branch and four years after her move to New York, BBH US was named Adweek’s Eastern Agency of the Year. After her success in the agency world, Cindy resigned as chairman of BBH in 2005 to do something different. Since then she has launched fascinating projects of her own, including MakeLoveNotPorn, a website intended to promote honest conversations about sex and relationships.
Please email principals.events@some.ox.ac.uk to register. We hope to see many of you there.
