OxTalks is Changing
Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. From now until the launch of Oxford Events, new events cannot be published or edited on OxTalks while all existing records are migrated to the new platform. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period.
From 16th, Oxford Events will launch on a new website: events.ox.ac.uk, and event submissions will resume. You will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
Crowdsourced Digital Collections in the Age of AI: Keywords, Maps and Memories
Catherine Conisbee (University of Oxford) introduces the ‘Their Finest Hour Online Archive’, a crowdsourced collection of Second World War stories and objects, and shares findings from two recent research projects which explored how AI and other digital tools can enhance search and discovery, while preserving the voices present in this collection.
Bodleian Bytes is a series of online talks hosted by the Centre for Digital Scholarship at the Bodleian Libraries. Registration is required for this free event.
