On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Concerned about the environment? If so, you should attend this Sunday’s Exeter Rector’s Seminar which is on a major, and rapidly worsening, aspect of environmental degradation and climate change: the deteriorating condition of the world’s oceans.
While of interest to all, this seminar may be of special relevance to students (very much including graduate students) and academics concerned with the environment and with environmental policy.
The speaker will be Alan Simcock, an Exeter alumnus (1961, Literae Humaniores), who is joint coordinator of the United Nations’ Group of Experts of the Regular Process for the Assessment of the State of the World’s Oceans.
His topic will be: ‘A conjunction of crises – the challenges of managing human impacts on the ocean’.
Sunday, 8 November, 4.30 pm, Drawing Room, Rector’s Lodgings, Exeter College. All welcome.
