OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Tuning the Code: Preventing Aberrant Translation to Unlock Safer, Stronger mRNA Immunotherapies

Dr James Thaventhiran is a Principal Investigator and Theme Lead at the MRC Toxicology Unit, University of Cambridge, where he investigates how adaptive immune lymphocytes resist anti-proliferative inflammatory signals. He is also a clinical immunologist at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, where his clinical studies on patients with primary and secondary immunodeficiency have the goal of identifying novel immunodeficiencies and therapies.
